Relationship Therapy For Couples

In-person on the East End of Long Island  · Remotely throughout New York State

Are You Looking To Breathe New Life Into Your Relationship?

Do you and your partner struggle to communicate without becoming defensive or critical? Do you argue in circles and get passive aggressive with one another? Are you drifting apart or lonely even when you're together?

There are times when couples hit an impass and need guidance to move past hurts. It's important to recognize that it may not be too late to explore new pathways to connect.

Couples therapy is about giving your relationship the attention it deserves and putting in the effort to build trust and emotional safety.

As your couples therapist, I create a neutral space where both of you are gently encouraged to shed defenses and improve your communication. In therapy, you learn how to cultivate and maintain a healthy partnership based on mutual respect and joint effort.

My role is to provide a supportive platform where you strengthen your ability to turn towards each other and to nurture your connection. Together, we work towards a place where you can relax and easily enjoy being together once again.

The Couples Therapy Process

In our sessions, we delve into the issues that are affecting your relationship negatively and work on practical strategies to overcome them. Utilizing evidence-based practices, experiential exercises, and open dialogue, you'll gain insights and tools to enhance your lives.

Every couple has the potential to grow and transform, regardless of their current challenges. My aim, as your therapist, is to establish a safe and supportive space for you to openly address your concerns.

If you and your partner are ready to embark on this process, positive change is possible—and it can lead to newfound self-expression and heartfelt connection between the two of you.
